Empty Bowls Banquet - THANK YOU!
A huge heartfelt thank you to our community, both business and individuals, who made our recent 32nd Annual Empty Bowls Banquet on March 26th a big success. We enjoyed dinner by Fratelli’s Seafood and Italian Restaurant and ice cream by Moo Cow Creamery–both supplied entirely as a donation.
Middletown High School students: Jason Koster, David Koster, Harvey Shapiro, Jasper Holmes and Caleb Crauss provided entertainment with their Jazz Band Quintet. They came up with the songs performed and this was thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
Student Art was shared by all of the elementary, primary, middle and high schools in our Middletown school feeder system. MHS students helped with the set up and taking down of tables for our silent auction and serving the capacity number of guests with their meal. All done with a positive outlook and energy that exemplifies community spirit.
This banquet demonstrated our community partnering with us at MVPHP and the Middletown Food Bank.
